born as jewel, blessing tree
soul dysfunction tarnished me
it revealed wounds unhealed
from being BLACK

all the good, all the bad
all the lies that drove me mad
all the colorquest confusion
that the bloodlines never had
but when i find life redefined
there is joy transcending sad
so phenomenal am i
